Interpersonal Communication and Situational Leadership on Teacher Performance

Teacher performance plays a very important role in improving the quality of learning and graduatesdetermined by interpersonal communication situational leadership principal. This study aims toanalyze influence principal on teacherperformance at SD IT Bunayya Lhokseumawe. The research method uses correlational, with quantitativeapproach. Data collection used questionnaire distributed to 38 respondents as total sample. measurementscale Likert scale four answer choices. multiple linear regression analysis. Previously,prerequisite analysis tests were carried out using data normality, autocorrelation, heteroskedasticity andmulticollinearity. results stated that teacher was significantly simultaneouslyinfluenced 70.7 percent theremaining 29.3 influenced other variables not studied. Research contribution theprincipal open providing positive responses attitudes teachers. placeshimself according teacher’s situation so he can foster good cooperation. improvesas seen from process compiling mastering material skillfully media.
